Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students represent countries or delegates and debate global issues, learn the structure of the United Nations and international relations. Delegates deliver speeches, debate, write resolutions, negotiate, and practice diplomacy improving aspects including public speaking, problem solving, teamwork and leadership skills.

Yes, ÇapaMUN strictly adheres to the Western Business Attire (WBA) dress code for all delegates and staff.

Not necessarily. Both beginners and experienced delegates are welcome and although some committees may require intermediate knowledge, introductory committees are available for new delegates. General Assembly Committees are recommended for inexperienced delegates.

The only criterion is being a high school student between the ages 13 and 19.

The minimum delegate count is 4, with 15 being the maximum. If you are wishing to have more than 15 delegates in your delegation, you may contact us through contact@capamun.org. However keep in mind that the Secretariat may not accept exceeding the limit.

The decision of the Secretariat and Directorate on application results is final. There is no reconsideration procedure unless there is a technical mistake done by the Academic or Organization teams.

Yes, applications are evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis meaning that first applications get evaluated first by the Secretariat. Therefore, there might be a greater chance of acceptance if you apply as early as possible to ÇapaMUN'26.

No there is not. Participants who have completed their payments and decide not to participate will not be able to get a refund. However you can contact our team anytime for guidance and help.
