DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY

Agenda Item: Open Agenda

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is a department of government established after the Homeland Security act of 2002. Today, DHS serves as a cornerstone addressing security risks, intervening ongoing threats and preventing possible ones by actions. As the world faces progressively complex security challenges, the need to strengthen short tracking has never been further urgent. Criminals now operate across borders, using intelligent transnational networks to evade justice. This session will focus on how federal, state, and orbicular agencies can build stronger alliances through coherent intelligence sharing, coordinated rapid response efforts, and unified strategies to track and apprehend fugitives wherever they may flee. By examining emergent technologies, modern valid frameworks, and operative multinational collaboration models, we aim to develop immediate actions against crises that ensure justice is no longer limited by geography.
